Humana teams with Argus for industry-leading pharmacy claims processing and delivery of Medicare Part D Drug Benefit
LOUISVILLE, KY - May 13, 2005 - Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM) announced today that Argus Health Systems will begin providing its pharmacy claims processing, reporting and benefits administration services to Humana in September 2005. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Argus will support Humana's core pharmacy initiatives such as the delivery of the Medicare Part D drug benefit strategy, as well as Humana's industry-leading and patent-pending RxImpact benefit, RxCalculator pricing tool and Maximize Your Benefit program.

Its robust pharmacy claims processing infrastructure is built to manage the sophisticated pharmacy benefits and customization that is required to work with Humana's customers. Likewise, Argus' technology and strategy provides Humana with tools to deliver Medicare Part D products in 2006.
