How the Humana PDP Standard Plan works

• A basic plan, equal to the federal government's minimum requirements
  
  
• You have a $295 deductible; Humana then pays 75 percent, and you pay 25 percent
  
  
• If your drug costs rise above $2,700; you pay 100 percent of your drug costs until you've spent $4,350 on covered drugs – this is the coverage gap
  
  
• After that, Humana pays 95 percent, and you pay the greater of $2.40 for generic (including brand drugs treated as generic) and $6.00 for all other drugs, or 5% coinsurance.
