Medicare Part A and B
Basic information about Medicare Part A and B
When you hear people discussing Medicare, you often hear them mention Part A (Hospital insurance) and Part B (Medical insurance).
Part A and B don’t cover everything, so if you are looking for a plan that fills some of the medical gaps, you may want to consider one of Humana’s Medicare Advantage or Medicare Supplement plans. |
Medicare Part A
Medicare Part A helps cover your inpatient care in hospitals, including critical access hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities (not custodial or long-term care). It also helps cover hospice care and some home healthcare. You must meet certain conditions to get these benefits. Read more about it. Medicare Part A
Medicare Part B
Medicare Part B helps cover your doctors’ services and outpatient care as well as some other medical services that Part A doesn’t cover, such as some of the services of physical and occupational therapists, and some home healthcare. Read more about it. Medicare Part B
