My Available Plans

Before you dig into the details, you will want a general idea of the basic type of coverage each plan offers.

The My Available Plans section allows you to quickly see what types of Humana plans are available to you. It helps you identify which plans are a better fit with your coverage needs and budget. Depending on the plans available in your area, information in the My Available Plans section includes:

My Rx Coverage

The My Rx Coverage section gives you detailed information about prescription coverage. You can estimate your specific prescription costs by using the Rx Calculator. Knowing if the plan you want covers your medication allows you to select the plan that will save you money and let you take the prescriptions you and your doctor think you need.

My Annual Costs

The My Annual Costs section estimates your overall annual costs, by plan, based on your doctor, hospital and prescription drug costs.

If you are looking at our Medicare Advantage plans or Medicare Supplement that offer medical coverage, the Medical Cost Calculator helps you estimate your annual cost for doctor and hospital visits with each plan. Just click on the Medical Cost Calculator and enter in the number of times you expect to see a doctor, or stay in a hospital, and click on the Add to Chart button. The tool automatically calculates how much you would pay out-of-pocket for each plan, and populates the amounts in the grid on the My Annual Costs section.

If you are looking at our prescription drug plans or Medicare Advantage plans that include prescription drug coverage, use the Rx Calculator tool to estimate your annual out-of-pocket costs for prescription drugs for each plan. By accessing the Rx Calculator tool and entering your personal drug information, you will get a personal estimate of your yearly cost. You can easily see which plan will be the best fit for your personal needs.

To get the most out of the tool, it's helpful to have the following information:

If you've built strong, long-term relationships with your current doctors, you’ll want to make sure you can still see them with your new Medicare plan.
